Col. Whipple Trail (former Cherry Pond Trail) Jefferson, NH...The Col. Whipple Trail is much improved. It's problem with logging debris underfoot has been remedied and the raspberry patch has been trimmed back quite a bit. The way is easily discernible.
Extensive work has been done on this trail, August 2007, by the Randolph Mountain Club, YCC and Dave Govatski (See the 'Message Forum' under Pondicherry Bog Bridging'). Also, extensive work was done in 2008 by Greg and Stacy Boone of Twin Mountain.
